There is something I call the “Murphy’s Shopping Law.” It happens when you’re just about to pay or get out of the store and you spot something that you would definitely get home with you. Sounds familiar? I KNOW! But that’s how I found my new favourite bag.

I didn’t find much about this brand other than it was (and is!) a big thing in the 80s. The Korean designer had a very particular style whick makes it kind of easy to identify. Isn’t it lovely? Take a look at other pictures of Nas bags here and judge by yourself. They’re so unique and vibrant, each bag has its own personality! I just love that I found mine.
I also found a description of the same bag from www.rubylane.com (online vintage shopping community) that says:
This vintage faux leather multi-colored patchwork NAS/Alentino handbag provides a very unique and fun way to carry your stuff. It has a double handle and sports gold colored piping and stitch work around the various patches which mostly have a reptilian look. It has a 17” zipper across the top which opens wide enough to see what you are looking for inside. There is also a small zipper pocket on the inside. The inner durable weight lining is in excellent condition. This is a bag that will compliment many outfits.

When my interest in thrifting and Vintage started a couple of moons ago, I did some research to educate myself better on the subject and found super useful tips that made my life easier when investing in that wonderful link to the stylized past. That’s why I decided to share those tips with you, based on what I’ve learned through this pleasant experience.

Remember one of the tricks/tips for thrifting is to constantly visit the stores because ( at least you have 7 eyes) you won’t have the time to see it all. Also, they change the inventory all the time, so you will always see new stuff. Just think about it, could you handle the burden of the guilt for missing what could have been the finding of a lifetime? COULD YOU? I can’t even think about it ): But that’s ok, now you know it, and hopefully you’ll put this into practice (:
