Value Village scores again!

If you go to Brantford and have no much to do, you should definitely go check the Value Village there. It’s not that big, but WOW! Believe me when I say you will find quality and unique vintage items. From pins and earrings, to early 80’s and 90’s vintage clothes.

This time I was looking for some blazers as I finally started my internship (which by the way, I love it) and had nothing decent to wear at all. Turns out I found three amazing pieces including a pearl, but that’s for another post because I didn’t take any pictures of them… And I want you to stay tuned! 😉

However, I found other interesting things that have been on my “must find” list for a while. If I’m happy with my findings? You bet but I’ll win! Just take a look and judge by yourself.

Please ignore my dumb face and the devil manifesting itself through my hair!

This one is a pearl, or should I say PAIR? (I’m so funny right? Please laugh.)

I was so close to buy a pair of Martens until I saw the price. I decided I was going to find my perfect black shoes with three holes, but I found something SO much better.

Once I was looking through Amazon.com and I read in the comments people complaining about the quality of the shoes/boots. I found out that the Dr. Martens we buy at the shoe stores are manufactured in China and not in England like it used to be, so the quality dropped a lot and I can tell: Last year I bought my burgundy boots and they already started to peel off in some parts. From what I read, these boots used to last for at least 7 years or so.

I was doing some research but I couldn’t find the model this babes. If you have a hint, please let me know! I have a good feeling about it because the material they’re made of is so strong and, you know, different from the rubbery ones we see nowadays.
