Heads-up! Jack Lux and its crazy goodbye-SALE!

This pop-up shop version of the store in Montreal it’s been in Toronto for a while now, but the time to leave has come and they have this crazy sale to get rid of everything!

Jack Lux Vintage (Montreal) opened a 2nd location in Toronto (pop-up store). Jack Lux has one of the largest vintage collections in Canada much of which was acquired from Centre National du Costume (2005) which was a costuming trust established by the Quebec Government to curate and identify a wide ranging (1920’s – 1990’s) and diverse vintage collection to be used by filmmakers and production houses that were shooting in the province of Quebec. In 2005, the organization was dismantled and Jack Lux was able to acquire the vast collection — which at last count included more than 200, 000 items of men and women’s apparel and accessories.

WHAT: Vintage Shop offering incredible men’s and women’s vintage clothing, shoes and accessories ranging from 1920 – 1990 available at incredible prices.

According to their Facebook page “ALL REMAINING ITEMS ARE $5 OR LESS!” I went there last week TWICE and still couldn’t see everything, they have a lot of stuff including hats, shoes, lots of belts, ties, coats, two pieces suits, beautiful dresses and more!

I’m sorry that I don’t have pictures of the lovely dress I found at Jack’s, but here’s one I stole from the gorgeous Rita (she also has a blog, and yes it’s all about vintage! http://puttingontheritzz.wordpress.com)

Isn't she gorgeous?

Walk, ride, roll!

I’ve seen skates like this at one specific vintage store and dreamed a little bit to try them on and join the Roller Derby team… Yes, I dream that much! However, I was walking back home and saw this size 7 beauties around Christie and Bloor.

By the way, if you like going to vintage stores and you live in Toronto or are visiting, you must drop by this amazing place! It’s called 69 Vintage and as soon as I get my camera, I’ll show you one of the most incredible pieces of my wardrobe that I’ve bought from there.
